There are many ways to flush a heating system. From traditional power flushing, to using a Magna cleanse, to my preferred method of pre dosing the system for a few days with chemicals and then mains flushing the system. This method reduces the time taken to do the job, puts less stress on the heating system but still gives excellent results.
If the water in your heating system looks like this picture, it’s definitely time for a flush.
